Be the practice the AI answer names.
Patients ask AI which dentist to see tonight, near them, taking their insurance. How that answer is built, what the scan checks, and what I fix.
A question your buyers ask
“Which dentist near Irvine Spectrum is open Saturday and takes Delta Dental?”

Every blocker cleared on re-scan, or I keep working at no charge.
Self-serve: you pay first, then the Fix Pack is written from a fresh scan of your site.
A patient with a broken crown at nine in the evening does not scroll a list. They ask their phone which dentist in Irvine is open tomorrow morning and takes their insurance, and they call the first practice the answer names. That answer is built from what the engine could read about each practice, and most practice sites give it very little to work with.
The practices that get named have pages an engine can fetch, that state services, hours, location and insurance as plain text, and whose name and address match what Google's business listing and the insurance directories say. None of that requires a redesign.
The questions your buyers ask
Typical questions, written the way people type them into an assistant. Yours will differ; the scan runs on the pages that answer them.
- Which dentist near Irvine Spectrum is open Saturday and takes Delta Dental?
- Is there an emergency dentist in Costa Mesa I can see tonight?
- Invisalign or braces for a teenager, and who does it well in Orange County?
- Which pediatric dentist in Tustin is good with anxious kids?
- A dental implant consultation near me with someone who speaks Farsi or Spanish.
What decides which dental practices the answer names
- [01]
Are the answer crawlers allowed in?
Practice sites built by dental marketing vendors often ship a shared robots.txt or a bot-protection setting that blocks the AI answer crawlers wholesale. The practice never hears about it. NeshatScan names the crawler and the line.
- [02]
Are services, hours and insurance plain text?
Insurance logos as images, hours in a graphic, services in a slider: an engine sees none of it. The scan shows how much text a crawler that does not run JavaScript actually receives from your page.
- [03]
Does the structured data say Dentist, with hours and a map?
A Dentist node with opening hours, address, coordinates and the services offered gives the engine exactly what the patient's question needs. It must not carry a rating unless real reviews are visible on the page; the scan flags rating markup without visible reviews.
- [04]
Are the location pages real pages?
One thin page per city with the same paragraph and a swapped name is a doorway, and engines discount it. One good page per actual office, with that office's hours, team and parking, is what gets named.
- [05]
Is the practice one entity?
The practice name on the site, on the business listing, with the insurers and on the dental board record should match, character for character. An old name here, a doctor's name there and a brand somewhere else split the trust between them.
What I do about it
Run the free scan on your own site first. If it shows blockers, the one-time fix clears every one of them and re-scans to prove it. If the site is clean and the answers still leave you out, that is the monthly work: pages that state their facts, one name everywhere, and the same buyer questions captured on a schedule so you can see what changed.
What I will not promise
No one can promise that an AI engine will name your practice, and no one should promise reviews or ratings. I do not create rating markup or “best dentist” pages. What I promise: every access blocker cleared and re-scanned, every service and location page stating its facts, and dated captures of the same patient questions before and after.
Questions dental practices ask me
[01]How do I check whether ChatGPT names my dental practice?
Run the technical site scan and separately record an answer to a specific buyer question. The scan identifies observable technical barriers; a mention or citation must be checked in the answer itself, alongside the question and date. One question does not represent every buyer, language or location.
[02]Our vendor says the site is optimized. Why would AI not name us?
Optimized usually means the Google list. The AI answer needs three further things: the answer crawlers allowed in, facts stated as text rather than images, and a structured description of the practice. The free scan checks all three in minutes and shows the evidence, so you can forward it to the vendor.
[03]Do reviews matter for AI answers?
Real reviews on the business listing matter. Markup that claims a rating on your own site without visible reviews can hurt, because the engines' rules forbid it. The scan flags that markup, and I never add it.
[04]We have several offices. Do we need a page per office?
One real page per office, yes: its own hours, address, team and directions. Copies of one page with the city name swapped are discounted as doorways.
[05]Can patients' questions in Farsi or Spanish reach us?
Only if the page that answers them exists in that language, as text, with the language declared on the page. A bilingual practice with an English-only site is invisible for the second language.
[06]What does the first step cost?
The scan is free, and its full report opens with your email address. If it shows blockers, the one-time fix on the pricing page clears them. If the site is clean and you still are not named, that is the monthly work.
